Questions leaders ask about AI and superintelligence consulting
An AI consultant helps an organization decide where artificial intelligence and superintelligence belong, designs how they will run, and keeps them accountable once they do. These answers cover the work, the audit, how to choose a firm, and what superintelligence changes for a US organization.
The short version is on this page. The services behind it are AI consulting, the AI audit, AI architecture, AI advisory, AI governance consulting, and superintelligence consulting. How a retained engagement runs is on the engagement page.
We do not publish fees, client names, or results. Nothing here is a promise of an outcome, and nothing here is legal advice. If a framework is mentioned, it is a thing organizations are being asked about, not a certification we issue.

Answers
What is an AI consultant?
An AI consultant helps an organization decide where artificial intelligence and superintelligence belong in its operations, designs how they will run, and keeps them accountable once they do. At this firm the work is three services: audits, architecture, and advisory. We sell no product.
What does an AI consultant do?
We find where systems already shape decisions, name the risks in the order they matter, design who holds each decision, and advise the people who remain accountable. The work is written. It is not a tour of tools and it is not a workshop that ends without a document.
What is AI consulting?
AI consulting is that work, retained by the organization. It covers the decision to use a system, the design of how it runs, and the counsel that stays when the capability or the rules change. It is not a software implementation and not a staff-augmentation contract.
What services does an AI consulting firm offer here?
Audits, architecture, and advisory. Audits review where systems touch decisions, data, and obligations. Architecture designs the operating model, the systems, and the controls. Advisory is ongoing counsel for executives and boards. Governance and superintelligence consulting cut across those three.
What does an AI audit cover?
Where artificial intelligence and superintelligence already touch decisions, data, and obligations, including vendor-run uses and uses staff adopted outside the official list. It ranks what could go wrong and says what to change first. It is an independent review, not a certification.
What is an AI readiness assessment?
It is the part of the audit that asks whether the organization is ready to let a system take or strongly shape a named class of decisions. Ready means a named owner, fit data, a known obligation, a record, and a way to stop. We do not publish a comparative score.
How do you choose an AI consulting firm?
Match the firm to the job. Ask whether they sell the system they might recommend, who signs the work and stays with it, what you hold at the end of each step, what they will refuse, and how they treat a use that should stop. If the answers are a platform and a workshop, you are buying adoption.
Should we hire an independent advisor, a large firm, or a vendor?
Hire an independent advisor when you need a judgment, including the judgment to do less. Hire a large firm when the direction is already accepted and you need many people to carry a program out. Hire a vendor when you have already decided to buy a system and want it installed. Do not hire the vendor to make the buying decision.
What are the warning signs when hiring an AI consulting firm?
A guarantee of compliance. A client list you cannot verify. A fee that depends on the software you adopt. No named deliverable. No account of what the firm will refuse. A method that cannot start until you purchase a platform. Any one of those is a reason to slow down.
What does superintelligence change?
It changes where judgment can sit. Systems that match or exceed human expertise across many tasks are already in the market, so the question is no longer whether a single task can be automated. It is which decisions may move, who still answers for them, and how control is shown. The capability is present. Permission is a separate decision.
Is superintelligence a future problem?
No. We treat it as here. Organizations already have drafts, recommendations, and vendor features that staff treat as the decision. Waiting for a clearer label does not pause those uses. The audit is how you find out which of them matter.
What does Executive Order 14434 mean?
It was signed on September 29, 2026 and published on October 2, 2026. It tells federal executive agencies, to the maximum extent the law allows, to use Super Intelligence (SI) instead of artificial intelligence in official non-statutory communications. It does not rewrite the statute, it does not require old contracts to be rewritten, and it does not by itself bind private organizations. Our note cites the Federal Register and the White House text.
How does an engagement with you run?
In three steps, and there is no fourth. What you hold at each step, and how the scope is agreed, is written on the engagement page. We do not publish a fee, a package, or a duration.
Who do you work with?
Private, public, government, and non-profit organizations in the United States. The form changes the rules and the record. It does not change the standard: know where the systems sit, who holds each decision, and how control is shown.
What does an engagement cost?
We do not publish fees or a rate card. After a briefing, if there is a fit, we propose a written scope. If there is no fit, we say so. Nothing on this site is a price, a package, or an offer you can accept by submitting the form.
How do we request a briefing?
Use the briefing form or write to the firm. Tell us about the organization and the question in front of you. We read every request and reply to the work email you give us. Times for a briefing go out only after that review.
